É já nos dias 1 e 2 de Abril que decorre, em Madrid, a 4ª edição do Sonic Boom, um evento que promete levar ao rubro todos os adeptos de fighting games!
A Associação Grow uP Gaming estará representado no evento com duas caras bem conhecidas na scene Nacional, estes são Wilson 'TwinBlade' Ferreira e Diogo 'Digos' Salgado que partem para a terra de nuestros hermanos com a promessa de darem o seu melhor e representar as cores uP e Nacionais ao mais alto nível.
O evento conta já com um vasto número de torneios:
Com maior destaque para o torneio de Street Fighter V desta edição do Sonic Boom, que faz parte da Capcom Pro Tour 2017. E já é possível confirmar também alguns dos nomes de peso que vão estar presentes na competição, tais como: DA|ImStillDaDaddy, RB|Luffy ,Millenium|Will2Pac, ECHO FOX|Justin Wong, ZOWIE|Oil King, Mousesports|Problem X ou EG|Ricki Ortiz. Portanto, tem todos os ingredientes para ser um evento memorável.
Além disso, um grupo de 9 jogadores da Comunidade Portuguesa de jogos de luta PTFighters também vai estar presente no Sonic Boom. Entre eles e como já destacamos em cima, uP|TwinBlade e uP|Digos fazem parte desse lote. TwinBlade vai regressar com um Nash mais confiante, depois de um período menos bom onde usou Ryu. É impossível destacar este evento sem referir a rivalidade (saudável e com muito hype!) que tem vindo a ser construída nos últimos tempos entre as comunidades Portuguesa e Espanhola.
Tudo começou quando um dos mais proeminentes jogadores espanhóis, Sh4rin, afirmou num vídeo que, em Street Fighter V, M.Bison não era uma personagem viável para ganhar torneios. No entanto, essa é precisamente essa a realidade em Portugal.
Isto despertou alguma troca de palavras entre ambas as comunidades, o que acabou por culminar na marcação de um "ajuste de contas" para este Sonic Boom: um FT10 que vai opôr o M.Bison de uP|Digos ao Zangief de Sh4rin! Em teoria, este é um match-up a favor do Zangief, mas nós já sabemos como o Digos consegue virar as probabilidades a seu favor, certo? ;) Força Digos!
